We're running out of time!

Two more sleeps and only one more real day in Paris.
Note picture will be added tomorrow, bit of a HDD capacity issue going on right now, be sure to check back late after noon your time (Adelaide)

I'm planning on going to Versaille tomorrow, not sure about Bea and Isa yet, they appear to be wanting to go shopping! I've cancelled the credit cards!.

Today was the Louvre, these French really know how to build very very big, expensive buildings, nothing prepares you for your first view of the building in Paris. Louvre is an outstanding building. Little wonder the French rose up and had them all beheaded.

3 hours in the Louvre was enough, my feet still hurt and we've been walking a lot.

We had a late lunch followed by a cruise on the Seine, very nice time had by all.

Bea and I then went to Notre Dame (notice the correct spelling this time, and thanks Steve, Bea had worked that one out, even though I had not and she hadn't told me for a couple of days[that boy/girl comms issue again])

Again, Wow, this is a beautiful place of worship. I have tons of picture that I'm going to make some people sit through all of them (You know who you are..... [Steve])

Currently waiting for 6 Gig's of photo's to download so that I can put them here!!!!!

I'm still worried about my agographobic, claustrophobic tortoise!

We will be off line for a day on Wednesday due to travel, hopefully the hotel in Berlin has a connection of sorts, old East Berlin so I have no idea.

I asked if I could have Chateaubriand for dinner tonight. Bea managed to find what appeared to be a good reasturant very close to where we are. So off we toddled, only to find out that it's a very posh place, the waiters are all wearing suit and tie and the Chateaubriand is about $70.
We are dressed in T's and shorts!

We said forget it, walked away and found just around the corner a place that's selling it for $25. We ate there and I am going to quote my wife as having said "I'm happy now" this was a food comment only (allegedly). Would not give to me in writing and would not allow me to take a photograph to record this momentous occasion!

I will post this restaurants details tomorrow, this is a great place for food. Gordon Ramsay would like it, food out on time, great presentation and great service.... the guys notice who comes back and I think by the 5th visit your family.

More than happy to look at the pictures. Any number of them. :-)

As for restaurants, a nice German Chap I met said always go to the ones in the back streets. The food is always excellent and the prices lower. I think the best chinese cooking I ever had was in a little Chinese restaurant near Arts et Metiers.

There will also be any number of internet cafes in Berlin, East or West.
