The guide book says get there early.... pleanty of planning had Sean attempting to get us there by 9:45, yeah right! Somebody forgot to update the book, we ended up getting there at 11:30 or so... so we get the bus ... having just completed my heavy rigid licience I'm interested in how this lady is going to drive us from the train station to the garden..... with absolute poise and grace and break neck pace. This lady has driven large buses for some time and it showed.
We got there and decide that it's time to eat, some of you know how grumpy I get when I haven't eaten... any idea how grumpy Bea gets???????
We queue, again, get in and it's superb.
Bea and Isa strike a pose.
Stunning fungus!
Another Bee!
Handsome fellow, we had a good discussion
Bea's look says it all. I'm tired and if you point that thing at me again I'll stick it....
Not sure if we are getting fitter or not, but we walked about 8 kms today and we are tired but not as bad as yesterday.
Had dinner at the Pot De Terre
22, Rue Pot de Fer75005 Paris, France+33 1 43 31 15 51
Great food, not to much and at prices close to those in Adelaide, i.e. Steak $29
Worth a visit.
On the way home walked past the Pantheon. Wow, this is a serious large building, Bea say she will not bloody well climb it and neither will she climb Notre Dame (327 steps).
BTW there are two Notre Dames in Paris, one inside Paris and another about 30 minutes outside.
Beware the one way lift!
One Metro station has automated lifts, trouble is when you realise that your not where you want to be it's another 10 minute trek.
Hope your enjoying this, please let me know!

Dat's a nicer blog. Much less cluttered and no rowdy others!
I just saw your email about changing to this site so popped over to see (Good riddance to big blog).
Don't expect too many comments on this new site, though. From anyone. I get about 10 visits a day to my site and just about no one leaves comments. Don't be disheartened though, cos plenty of us will read it!
Have fun in Gay Paree. I'll stay tuned (and later today I might put a link on my site to here)

I always find it interesting how different people find different places. I've been to Paris a couple of times, reasonably well read, and yet here are more places that I've never even heard of let alone been to!
And yes, people are reading.
Noddy
PS "Notre Dame" just means "Our Lady". Plenty of Notre Dames in France just as there are Our Ladies in English speaking Catholic places. Just that "Our Lady of Paris" is a pretty famous one.
