Today was huge, I don't think I've walked this far in many a year.
Started with the market at Place Monge, more of a normal street market. Nothing to write home about, except that's exactly what I'm doing.
Started taking pictures of doors again:
Then we decided to go to the Arc de Triomphe, via the apartment as Bea had left the metro ticket in her jeans. Silly thing is she didn't want to climb it.! Some boy girl comms issue going on here, we just visitied the bloody thing from the other side of the road. I was quite impressed that the drivers did the right thing and let cars on! Strange to see it in action and actually working.
Walked down the Avenue Des Champs Elysees, that's a long walk and probably why my feet ache now. Metro from there to Bastille:
Lunch and then we went to see 6 Million people, or rather their remains! At the catacombes! This is a huge underground crypt that they reinterned the bones of bodies is from all over Paris
They have some interesting scuptures before you get to see the bones, they even have sign saying do not steal the bones:
Then over to Les Halles for a spot of ooh shopping, that was fun!!!!!
Then we went to the Eiffel Tower, this is the second time and I still didn't climb it!

You should climb the tower, the view is quite good for perspective appreciation and the photography is excellent. Say Hi! to Bea and have a great time, Neil.
